I am a mother of 2 young children. My husband works and I do also. I have been having trouble with my feet, and had to go to the doctor for it. I found out that I have to have foot surgery on the bone in my ankle because I have flat feet, my foot is turning in and causing extreme pain to walk. He told me that it would be a 4 month recovery period, and physical therapy afterwards. I cannot afford to be out of work for 4 months, we barely get by as it is. I don't have any disability insurance from work, and I called to find out about disability through social security and they tell me that I have to be out of work for 6 months before they could start paying me.Can anyone tell me what options that I have?? I need the surgery, or I won't beable to walk or raise my children or have a better life, but can't afford to stop working to do the surgery. Can anyone help????  Prayers is all I can do at this point.
